New Details For Dystopian Shooter ‘Atomic Heart’ Revealed on Steam Page

Mundfish continues to keep everyone in the dark regarding their upcoming Dystopian shooter, Atomic Heart. They have, however, updated the game’s Steam page with a bit more info about the game, which is expected later this year.

Atomic Heart is set in an alternative universe, where the Soviet Union has survived after World War II, and the progression in technology has resulted in a much different world. Mass production of robots for different purposes has given a new face to the industrial centres, which is where you find yourself in the game.

It turns out that this one such facility has seen its robots begin acting strangely. It’s up to you to find out why. It doesn’t help that every robot is programmed with a combat component that turns it into a war machine in just such an occasion.

Atomic Heart will also incorporate RPG elements into its gameplay, though Mundfish hasn’t specifically revealed just what that entails. However, there will be a crafting system in the game to make weapons out of junk that you’ll find during your explorations.

Lastly, Mundfish aims to have the game launch on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC. The game will take advantage of next-gen ray-tracing features, as well as support Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS ) technology on the PC.

Atomic Heart still has no release date, but once again, the weirdness certainly makes it seem worth the wait.
