‘Resident Evil 6’ Joins PlayStation Hits Line

While certainly not a series favorite, Capcom did all right by Resident Evil 6, racking up over seven million units sold across the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The re-release on the PS4 and Xbox One resulted in an additional two million units sold.

The result: Resident Evil 6 has now joined the PlayStation Hits line of games. Dino Crisis fan Jawmuncher recently made the discovery, including the news that the digital version of RE6 is enjoying a healthy discount from now until January 20th.

RE6 joins Resident Evil 7, Bloodborne, Friday the 13th: The Game, DOOM, Mortal Kombat X and more genre fare as PlayStation Hits entries for enjoying commercial and critical success on the console. Again, not everyone’s go-to, but hey, almost 10 million in sales can’t be that bad.

Props to Biohazard Declassified for finding this one.
