‘The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners’ Celebrates One-Year Anniversary With Free Update For Oculus Quest Version

One year after launching on Steam, the Oculus Quest and the PlayStation Store, Skydance Interactive has announced that not only has The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners earned over $29 million across all platforms, but is set to receive a free update next month for the Oculus Quest.

With that much revenue since its initial launch on January 23, 2020, Saints & Sinners is one of the best-selling VR games of last year, earning several award nods, including “Best VR/AR Game” at the 2020 Game Awards.

But hey, you probably want to know about that free update. Arriving on February 4 for the Oculus Quest version of the game is “The Trial” (which was part of the Meatgrinder update that was made available for the PSVR and Steam VR versions), which will challenge players to face off against “relentless waves of walkers” in wire-free gameplay that “enhances the game’s visceral combat like never before.”

As you survive each round, you’ll be rewarded with points based on your performance, which you can use to purchase weapons and crafting items to plan for the next wave of increasingly difficult enemies.

The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners is currently available via the Oculus Store, Steam, PlayStation Store.
