New ‘Borderlands 3’ DLC Arriving Next Month; ‘Tales From The Borderlands’ Re-releasing February 17

A double dose of Borderlands news today, as not only will 2K and Gearbox be releasing new DLC for Borderlands 3 in March, but Telltale Games and 2K will finally re-release Tales From The Borderlands onto digital storefronts later this month!

First off, to kick off the second season of DLC, 2K will release the “Director’s Cut” DLC on March 18 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and PC. The DLC will contain “an enticing variety of content”, including a new boss, new missions and locations. The DLC will also introduce Vault Cards, which when active, you can work to level-up by completing over 100 unique daily and weekly challenges. Gain enough progress and you’ll unlock a massive cache of themed cosmetics, plus some supremely powerful gear that scales to your level.

Finally, the Director’s Cut DLC will include “a treasure trove of never-before-seen behind-the-scenes content”, giving fans a peek into the development of Borderlands 3. From bloopers to cut content, you’ll also have access to a gallery showcasing concept art, storyboards, lost maps, and tons of footage that charts the game’s development.

As for Tales From The Borderlands, the game will be back on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC digital storefronts on February 17. Rather than individual episodes, this time all five chapters are bundled into one package. The game will also be available on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series via backwards compatibility.

Borderlands 3 is available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
