Last month, we told you about Yggdrazil Group’s asymmetrical 4-versus-1 multiplayer game Home Sweet Home: Survive. Today, the developer announced via the title’s Steam page that the game is out in Early Access, and will remain there for the next six months.
According to Gematsu, the Early Access version of the game includes Quickplay Mode, Custom Mode, party creation, skin customization, profile icons and stickers, and perks. The full version will eventually add new play modes (both casual and competitive), new character features, more character clothing customization options, as well as “optimizations for older PCs”.
Home Sweet Home: Survive consists of one Specter hunting four survivors in an arena, with players either assuming the role of the survivors or the Specter. The Specter must hunt for the survivors, while at the same time avoid being killed. Each Specter will have different stats and special abilities offering various ways of hunting survivors.
Meanwhile, the survivors have to cooperate to complete the objective. Each character will have different stats and unique abilities supporting each role of play—decoy, damage, or perform the rituals.
