Buka Entertainment Announces Brutal Hack & Slasher ‘Demon Skin’ For PC, Consoles

For those who enjoyed Konami’s experiment with Castlevania: Lords Of Shadow – Mirror Of Fate, developer Ludus Future and Buka Entertainment have something akin to that for you in their upcoming game, Demon Skin. Set for release on April 13th for PC via Steam, this dark and bloody hackfest will also be headed to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the Nintendo Switch later this year.

Combining the sidescrolling of Mirror of Fate with elements of Dark Souls, Demon Skin casts you as the Wanderer (not to be confused with Diablo II‘s Wanderer). As a member of your Order, you roam the various realms of the world, crossing axe with with hordes of demons and their sinister masters.

A war god in all but name, as a Wanderer you must parry incoming strikes, dodge traps and out-sprint annihilation in hostile worlds. Utilizing the game’s combat system, you’ll be focusing on gaps in enemy armour to strike. After their defeat, you’ll be pillaging demon corpses for weapons to unleash devastating new combos.

Of course, you’ll have to keep an eye on your stamina while in combat, which will affect your abilities alongside other physical conditions of your character. Demon Skin will also have an extensive skill tree, where gaining experience unlocks new combos and enhances your health, stamina, and attack power.
