Acquired out of Screamfest, Gravitas Ventures has dated their Australian thriller Sweet River for limited theaters and VOD platforms on April 23.
Bloody Disgusting has the exclusive trailer for the film in which UK actor Lisa Kay (Heartbeat, Indian Summers) plays Hanna Montague, “a woman whose search for her son’s body leads her to the sleepy town of Billing. Her investigations uncover more than she expected and threaten to expose the town’s secrets… secrets that both the living and the dead will fight to protect.”
Martin Sacks (Blue Heelers, Underbelly), Genevieve Lemon (Top of the Lake, The Dressmaker), Rob Carlton (Paper Giants, Chandon Pictures) and Eddie Baroo (Ghostrider, Australia) also star.
