Add Foo Fighters to the list of musicians who have taken their talents to Hollywood.
Bloody Disgusting is hearing that Foo Fighters, the incredibly popular rock band fronted by former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl, is starring in a brand new horror-comedy for Universal Pictures.
Filmed in secret during the pandemic, we’re told that Hatchet III director BJ McDonnell took the reigns on the film that allegedly features a bunch of all-star cameos.
It should be noted that we have yet to confirm this news, but it comes from a trusted source. We’ll update this accordingly as we learn more or gain additional confirmation.
This isn’t the only Universal project featuring rock stars as Rob Zombie is rumored to be working on a Munsters movie, which is said to begin filming in Budapest this May.
The concept isn’t a new one as bands have crossed over into pop culture several times in the past, including the infamous 1978 cult movie Kiss Meets the Phantom of the Park.
