It’s showtime!
Let’s be honest, Beetlejuice is great, but we all know the true star of Beetlejuice is Lydia Deetz, originally portrayed by Winona Ryder in the Tim Burton-directed 1988 classic that featured Michael Keaton as the “ghost with the most.”
While we never did get a Beetlejuice sequel, many of us were blessed to grow up with the excellent animated companion series, which aired for four seasons (1989-1991) and produced nearly 100 episodes.
The “Beetlejuice” cartoon, which was developed by Burton himself, featured Beetlejuice (Stephen Ouimette) and Lydia Deetz (voiced by Alyson Court) together exploring The Neitherworld and getting into trouble.
For the Lydia Deetz stans out there, an action figure is finally on the way based on the “Beetlejuice” animated series. There are two versions, one in her infamous red spider dress while the other has her donning purple. They both come with – get this – Ginger, the tap-dancing spider, as well as an umbrella, camera, candle and book.
Beetlejuice comes with interchangeable hands, hat, cane, and a small Sandworm.
From The Loyal Subjects, they’re all $63 USD and can be preordered at Ozzie Collectibles.
