Bloody Disgusting’s head critic Meagan Navarro was just talking about the forthcoming werewolf resurgence here on BD, and wouldn’t ya know it, another new one is on the way.
We’ve learned today that director Patrick Rea‘s werewolf revenge movie I Am Lisa will be released by Mill Creek Entertainment on DVD, Blu-ray and Digital tomorrow, March 16th.
“A young woman barely survives a brutal beating by a local sheriff, and a subsequent wolf attack. She awakens in a remote cabin in the woods, to discover that she has gained strange, new powers…powers she can use to exact revenge upon her attackers.”
“I Am Lisa is a fresh new take on the revenge horror genre, where the female protagonist, Lisa (Kristen Vaganos, Obsessed with the Babysitter, Dating After College), must battle between her new powers, seeking vengeance and embracing her animal instincts.”
Eric Winkler wrote the script for I Am Lisa. The film’s cast also includes Jennifer Seward, Manon Halliburton, Chris Bylsma, Cinnamon Schultz, Sarah McGuire and Millie Milan.
