Amidst all of the delays and the goings on with development, Techland has announced that they’ll be providing an update on Dying Light 2 next week.
The devs took to Twitter to say that they’ll be having an update on the development process of the game on March 17th, with those on the official Discord getting first dibs.
While there’s no indication as to what Techland has in store, Dying Light 2 has had a roller-coaster of a development. Amidst all of the “is it or isn’t it” rumours surrounding its release date, development has seen its lead writer part ways with Techland, as well as rumours of Techland CEO Pawel Marchewka causing conflict within the team, which has resulted in the slowing of production.
Nonetheless, Techland has stayed true to their word with supporting the original Dying Light this entire time, most recently with the game’s sixth anniversary celebration.
Dying Light 2 is currently in development for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series.
