Upcoming ‘Dead by Daylight’ Chapter Introduces Killer Musician

Dead by Daylight is getting another Killer, and depending on your musical tastes, it might be more horrific than what we’ve gotten so far. Revealed by IGN, developer Behaviour Interactive has teamed up with U-KISS member Kevin Woo and DJ Swivel (the latter having previously collaborated with K-pop band BTS) as part of the upcoming Chapter XIX update to reveal The Trickster.

Armed with a baseball bat and throwing knives, The Trickster fronts the fictional band No Spin. Or he did, until he accidentally on purpose let his bandmates be burned alive in a fire. From there, man formerly known as Ji-Woon would earn his notoriety by becoming addicted to murder, cutting his victim’s screams with his music. Standing in The Trickster’s way is a new survivor, Yun-Jin, a producer The Trickster failed to kill before both were dragged into the fog.

Currently, the Chapter is only available on the Test Server on Steam, which also includes a number of fixes and updates. No word on when the new Chapter will go live, but it will be available across all platforms.

Dead by Daylight is currently available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Stadia, and the Nintendo Switch.
