[Trailer] ‘Song of Horror’ Arrives on PS4 and Xbox One on May 28

Back in October, Raiser Games was forced to push the console release of its survival horror game Song of Horror to the vague “Q1 2021”. That thankfully has now been narrowed down to May 28 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The title, which has seen an episodic release on PC via Steam, is noteworthy for all of its various nods to classic horror games. Indeed, publisher Protocol Games co-founder Carlos Grupeli said that the Survival Horror genre “has such a long and rich history on both PlayStation and Xbox”, and so it seems only fitting that the consoles be “absolutely the right home” for Song of Horror.

Song of Horror is a non-combat adventure where the focus is instead on running and hiding, staying silent in the midst of all the terror to avoid the ever-present threat of The Presence, which triggers unnerving manifestations that are capable of bringing the game’s protagonists to the brink of insanity.
