The John Krasinski-directed sequel A Quiet Place Part II is *finally* coming to theaters Memorial Day Weekend, May 28, 2021, and it’s arriving on Paramount+ 45 days afterwards.
“It’s more ambitious. There’s more people and more creatures. It is like a runaway train,” Emily Blunt teases in a new featurette video, which recaps the events of the previous movie.
A third installment, meanwhile, is already in the works.
“Following the deadly events at home, the Abbott family (Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, Noah Jupe) must now face the terrors of the outside world as they continue their fight for survival in silence. Forced to venture into the unknown, they quickly realize that the creatures that hunt by sound are not the only threats that lurk beyond the sand path.”
Part II is rated PG-13 for “terror, violence and bloody/disturbing images.”
