It was back in June 2020 that all three seasons of Bryan Fuller and NBC’s brilliant series “Hannibal” found a new audience on Netflix, with many dedicated fans of the series hoping that the renewed interest would lead to the streaming service ordering up additional episodes. That hasn’t happened yet, unfortunately, and now “Hannibal” is getting set to leave Netflix.
We’ve learned this morning that all three seasons of “Hannibal” will be leaving Netflix on June 4, 2021, exactly one year after the entire series began streaming on the platform.
It’s clear at this point that Netflix obtained the rights for one year, and the seasons could always return in the coming months. As for the revival that Bryan Fuller and stars Mads Mikkelsen and Hugh Dancy are still as hungry for as the fans, we still don’t have anything to report at this time. But never say never, and make sure to keep on asking for it if you want it.
If Netflix saw huge viewership numbers for “Hannibal” in the past year, there’s certainly always the chance that they’ll be interested in resolving that Season 3 cliffhanger proper…

Horror movies leaving Netflix in June 2021 include Gothika, Jason X and Leprechaun on June 30, with the original version of “The Twilight Zone” also leaving on the same day.
