“You’re gonna need a bigger boat” has a much different meaning when you swap out a shark for a dinosaur.
Empire shared today a brand new shot from the Jurassic World: Dominion production, a behind-the-scenes look at director Colin Trevorrow discussing a scene with stars Chris Pratt and Omar Sy.
The duo is pictured on a small boat, which should look familiar to fans of Jaws, right down to the yellow buoys and a shark jaw placed on the front of the boat in the same location as the one on the famed Orca in Steven Spielberg’s horror masterpiece. The name of the boat doubles down on the homage – “Fair Spanish Lady,” a nod to a tune sung by Quint in the 1975 classic.
Could this tribute imply that we’ll see Pratt and Sy battling the Mosasaurus in Dominion?! Last we saw the beast, after all, it was terrorizing beach-goers on the mainland…
Jurassic World: Dominion will stomp into theaters on June 10, 2022.
