“Godzilla Singular Point”: Rodan Crashes the Party in New Clip from Netflix’s Anime Series [Video]

The King of the Monsters is soon making his way to Netflix with Toho’s anime series “Godzilla Singular Point,” which features character designs by Blue Exorcist’s Kazue Kato and a brand new Godzilla design from legendary Ghibli animator Eiji Yamamori. “Singular Point” will be available globally on June 24, and we’ve got a brand new clip from the English dub today.

Premiered on Netflix’s “Geeked Week” presentation this afternoon, the two-minute clip introduces Jet Jaguar, while also unleashing iconic titan Rodan. Find it down below!

Directed by Atsushi Takahashi, the 13-episode animated series will “tell a new and original story unlike anything seen in the Godzilla franchise before.” Here’s the plot synopsis…

“When danger comes up from the depths, only young geniuses Mei, Yun, and their team can face the threat.”

“Brought together by a mysterious song, a grad student and an engineer lead the fight against an unimaginable force that may spell doom for the world.”

Anime studio Bones (My Hero Academia) in partnership with studio Orange (Beastars, Land of the Lustrous) will produce the series combining hand-drawn and CG animation styles.
