‘Hardcore Henry’ Director’s Action-Thriller ‘Nobody’ Comes Home to 4K and Blu-ray This Month

Bob Odenkirk (Better Call Saul) is an (unlikely) ass-kicking vigilante in Nobody (read Meagan’s review), the new action-thriller from director Ilya Naishuller (Hardcore Henry).

Nobody was released into theaters back in March, and we’ve learned this week that the movie is now getting its physical 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD release on June 22.

You can rent the film digitally for $19.99 right now.

Special Features for the physical releases include:

  • Audio commentary by director Ilya Naishuller and actor Bob Odenkirk
  • Audio commentary by director Ilya Naishuller
  • Just a Nobody featurette
  • Breaking Down the Action featurette
  • Hutch Hits Hard featurette
  • Deleted scenes

Emmy winner Bob Odenkirk stars as Hutch Mansell, an underestimated and overlooked dad and husband, taking life’s indignities on the chin and never pushing back. A nobody.

When two thieves break into his suburban home one night, Hutch declines to defend himself or his family, hoping to prevent serious violence. His teenage son, Blake (Gage Munroe), is disappointed in him and his wife, Becca (Connie Nielsen), seems to pull only further away.

The aftermath of the incident strikes a match to Hutch’s long-simmering rage, triggering dormant instincts and propelling him on a brutal path that will surface dark secrets and lethal skills. In a barrage of fists, gunfire and squealing tires, Hutch must save his family from a dangerous adversary (Alexey Serebryakov)—and ensure that he will never be underestimated as a nobody again.

Christopher Lloyd, RZA and Paisley Cadorath also star.

Derek Kolstad (writer of the John Wick movies) wrote the script, and Kelly McCormick & David Leitch (Deadpool 2, Atomic Blonde, Hobbs & Shaw) produced Nobody.
