Remedy Signs Deal With 505 Games to Create Multiplayer-Focused ‘Control’ Spin-off Title

If you’re looking for more titles in the Control universe, Remedy Entertainment has announced an upcoming cooperative PvE spin-off that’s set in the game’s universe (and by extension, part of Alan Wake‘s universe).

In a recent agreement signed between Remedy and 505 Games, the title, codenamed “Condor”, will be 4-player cooperative, and will be a next-gen exclusive title with PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC. Remedy and 505 Games will split the costs of development, as well as profits.

Condor isn’t the only title Remedy is cooking up, as a second untitled game related to Control was alluded to, but with few details. It’s not clear if this is in relation to the deal that Remedy worked out with Epic Games earlier this year that may be Alan Wake 2, or if it’s that rumoured remaster of the original Alan Wake that was leaked onto the Epic Games Store back end.

Control is available now on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series.
