‘Skyrim’ Gets Groovy With This Series of Mods That Add Ash From ‘Evil Dead’

Sure, having Macho Man or Thomas The Tank Engine in Bethesda’s The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is cool, but what about having the man known as Bruce Campbell in there to muck it up? While it’s not entirely one mod (as no such mod could hold that much awesome), it’s a series of mods that add Bruce Campbell’s voice, new quests, and even have Ash tag along with your Dragonborn.

For starters, there’s your typical Ash Williams (Bruce Campbell) voicepack that adds Ash’s wisecracks to the Additional Player Voices mod. From there, you have the Necronomicon Book of the Evil Dead that arms you with the Necronomicon to grant you the spell to Conjure Five Soul Cairn Creatures to fight for you.

Still not enough? There’s the Evil Dead mod that adds a small quest based on the films. It even gives you Ash’s iconic chainsaw! Lastly, there’s the aforementioned Ash Williams – Evil Dead follower mod that gives you Ash as a follower. But really, you’d rather be slicing up Deadites (or Draugr, for that matter) as Ash himself.
