[Trailer] ‘Dying Light’ Kicks Off 4th of July In-Game Event Tomorrow; New Savvy Gamer Bundle Available

Once again, Techland is sticking to their word regarding additional Dying Light content ahead of the game’s upcoming sequel. Hitting July 1 and running until July 11 is the in-game 4th of July event, where players once again have the opportunity to earn a gold melee weapon.

In order to do so, you’ll have to kill 50 Infected with fireworks, while those players working towards the global objective of 10,000,000 infected kills with fireworks will earn 3x King Mods. Players can collect five fireworks from the Quartermaster per day.

That’s not the only goodie that Techland has implemented, as Dying Light will have the new Savvy Gamer Bundle, which gives players a chance to “unleash their inner nerd” and wield DIY gamer-gear-themed weapons and gear. The bundle is available today on PC and consoles for $2.99.

And seeing as the Steam Summer Sale is still on, you can pick up the game at a reduced price. The Standard Edition will be available at 66% off, the Enhanced Edition will be discounted by 70%, and the recently released Platinum Edition (The Savvy Gamer Bundle not included) will be 75% cheaper.

Meanwhile, Dying Light 2: Stay Human (which will have its second “Dying 2 Know” episode launch tomorrow) arrives December 7th for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Xbox Series.
