Bloody Disgusting & Dark Star’s ‘Honeydew’ is Coming to VHS Courtesy of Broke Horror Fan!

Now available on VOD and Digital HD, the very first Bloody Disgusting x Dark Star Pictures collaboration is the horror film Honeydew, written and directed by Devereux Milburn and boasting the acting debut of Sawyer Spielberg, son of director Steven Spielberg.

If you’d rather own a physical copy than stream it, we’re excited to announce today that Honeydew is next coming to VHS courtesy of Broke Horror Fan and Witter Entertainment!

Yes, we’re talking a limited edition, FULLY FUNCTIONAL VHS tape!

Broke Horror Fan explains, “The 2020 horror film arrives on VHS in a black clamshell case with artwork by The Robot Eye. It is limited to 50 copies. Each tape includes a letter from writer-director Devereux Milburn and an exclusive introduction by actress Barbara Kingsley. Stay tuned after the movie for a special feature: Honeydew: Behind the Scenes.”

“For optimal VHS viewing, the film has been cropped from its original aspect ratio to 4:3 full frame. It is officially licensed from Dark Star Pictures and Bloody Disgusting and has been approved by director Devereux Milburn.”

“Honeydew tells the story of a young couple (played by Sawyer Spielberg and Malin Barr) who are forced to seek shelter in the home of an aging farmer (Barbara Kingsley) and her peculiar son, when they suddenly begin having strange cravings and hallucinations taking them down a rabbit hole of the bizarre.”

The tape goes on sale Friday, July 23, at 12pm EST/9am PST!
