Capcom Selling ‘Resident Evil’-themed Perfumes in Japan

You can now add perfume to the list of things you can get with Resident Evil slapped on the package. Capcom has released a line of new fragrances inspired by their iconic series, though they’re only available in Japan.

As part of the series’ 25th anniversary celebrations, the three perfumes were released this past Friday, and are “inspired” by a different Resident Evil character: Leon, Chris and Jill. Chris’ scent features “the passion of cloves and black pepper”, while Jill has a “fruity floral ozone scent” that expresses her “cuteness”. And Leon? His scent is “centered on citrus that is reminiscent of Leon’s calmness and sense of justice”.

Blame Google Translate for these descriptions.

Unfortunately, as mentioned these perfumes are only available at Japanese retail stores, and digital orders are restricted to Japan. Each bottle retails for ¥6380, which is around $60 USD.

And, if for whatever reason Resident Evil isn’t your thing, Capcom also has Devil May Cry 5-themed perfumes available with Dante, Nero and V.

Resident Evil Village is out now, with DLC expected in the future.

Thanks to Gamesradar for the heads up.
