It’s unfortunately releasing *after* Halloween but we’ve learned this week that the Halloween-set horror anthology Bad Candy is coming to DVD on November 9, 2021.
From Digital Thunderdome, Bad Candy was written and directed by Scott Hansen & Desiree Connell, and Zach Galligan (Gremlins) stars alongside Slipknot’s Corey Taylor.
Bad Candy follows local Halloween stories of both myth and lessons learned in the community of New Salem. With its annual Psychotronic FM Halloween show, re-enactment radio DJs Chilly Billy and Paul weave the tales of the supernatural of years gone by. In this small town it’s a grimy ending for most, but will a few good souls survive?
You can check out the trailer and release art below. This one looks a bit like Trick ‘r Treat, promising different flavors of Halloween horror and various practical creatures. Could be fun!
