[Trailer] New ‘Dead By Daylight’ Chapter Introduces a Tormented Artist, a Hacker, And Crows

As expected, Behaviour Interactive pulled back the curtain on the “Portrait of a Murder” chapter for Dead By Daylight, revealing a new Killer, a new Survivor, and a new map. Currently available only on the Public Test Servers, the next chapter is expected to go live later this month.

The new Killer this time around is an original creation in The Artist. Formerly known as Carmina Mora, The Artist in life was a “gifted but tormented” painter, whose art touched more than a few nerves in her native Chile, resulting in her hands and tongue being removed. Now, thanks to The Entity, she’s back for vengeance with a murder of crows in tow.

Also introduced is Jonah Vasquez, the new Survivor. A mathematical genius, Vasquez worked as a codebreaker for the CIA before The Fog took him. The most notable of his Perks is Corrective Action, which when working with a fellow Survivor on the same generator as Vasquez, allows him to turn a failed Skill Check into a good Skill Check.

The new map is the Eyrie of Crows, which is located in the Forsaken Boneyard Realm. The map features a towering crypt, complete with a murder of crows watching your every move.

In addition to the new Chapter, Behaviour Interactive also announced that Dead by Daylight and all its previously-released DLCs (sans the Stranger Things DLC) will arrive on the Epic Games Store in December, with support for cross-platform play and progression with the other PC versions.
