Actor Dave Bautista has had a very busy year in genre film, first starring in Army of the Dead then Dune. He won’t be slowing down next year either, as Deadline reports that he’s in talks to star in M. Night Shyamalan‘s newest, Knock at the Cabin.
All plot details are still under wraps, though Shyamalan will write and direct the mysterious project. Deadline also reported that “Bautista was quick to jump at the opportunity to work with the Oscar-nominated director.”
Knock at the Cabin continues the lengthy partnership with Universal, which has released Old, Glass, Split, and The Visit.
Shyamalan will also produce with Ashwin Rajan under the filmmaker’s Blinding Edge Pictures banner alongside Marc Bienstock and Steven Schneider.
Universal Pictures will release the mysterious, top secret horror thriller in theaters on February 3, 2023.
