Stephen King’s 10 Best Stories for Christmas [The Losers’ Club Podcast]

Unlike his son Joe Hill, Stephen King hasn’t really written a Christmas story. Granted, the holiday has graced his works from time to time, but they’re often passing references. So, if you’re keeping warm by the fire this December and thinking to yourself, God, I’d love to pair this cozy night with some Christmas King, you’ll have to do some searching.

Or, you can leave it to The Losers’ Club.

Just as they did for Halloween, the Losers are celebrating the most wonderful time of the year by naming 10 Stephen King titles everyone should read with a blanket before or around Christmas. So, grab a cup of eggnog (maybe even some cookies) and join Jenn Adams, Justin Gerber, Dan Caffrey, and Rachel Reeves as they unwrap some scares under the tree.

(Note: This conversation was originally recorded in December 2020 for the Losers’ Club Patreon, The Barrens. It has since been unlocked from the Derry Private Library.)

Stream the episode below and return next week when the Losers deliver the first of two book episodes dedicated to King’s final 1999 collection, Hearts In Atlantis. For further adventures, join the Losers’ Club over long days and pleasant nights via Apple Podcasts, Spotify, RadioPublic, Acast, Google Podcasts, and RSS. You can also unlock hundreds of hours of exclusive content in The Barrens (Patreon).
