[Trailer] Subterranean Horror Title ‘Hidden Deep’ Launches January 24th on Steam

Cogwheel Software has announced that their upcoming underground side-scroller that draws from the likes of The Thing, Aliens and Half-Life will arrive next on Steam. Hidden Deep (which had its beta launch back in November) will launch into Early Access on January 24th, and the devs are celebrating with a brand-new trailer to mark the occasion.

In Hidden Deep, players explore a vast suboceanic research and mining facility where a group of researchers have gone missing after detecting and examining “strange anomalies of unknown nature”. You are the leader of the second group that’s been sent in to investigate and rescue anyone who’s still alive. You’ll be command your team members to find out what happened in the abandoned caves and corridors, “unraveling a dark sci-fi horror mystery inspired by classic movies from the ‘80s and ’90s.”
Hidden Deep will also include a multiplayer co-op option, where you and a friend will be able to take on specific co-op missions via local multiplayer or use the Steam remote play feature.
While you’re waiting, also check out our preview of the game.
