‘Train to Busan’ Remake ‘The Last Train to New York’ Will Pull into Theaters in April 2023!

Now before you get all up in arms, the upcoming English-language remake of Train to Busan, we assure you, is in the very best of hands. A Bloody Disgusting favorite, Timo Tjahjanto (The Night Comes for Us, May the Devil Take You, V/H/S/94) has been hired to direct the remake of the South Korean zombie epic for New Line Cinema, titled The Last Train to New York.

On top of that, the new movie is being produced by Atomic Monster, which is headed by James Wan. When can you expect to see it? A release date has been provided this week.

The Last Train to New York will pull into theaters on April 21, 2023!

In the original, a zombie virus breaks out in South Korea, while passengers struggle to survive on the train from Seoul to Busan.

Train to Busan was directed by Sang-Ho Yeon and spawned a sequel and an animated prequel.

Atomic Monster’s Michael Clear, and Gaumont’s Nicolas Atlan and Terry Kalagian will also produce alongside Coin Operated’s Gary Dauberman, who is adapting the screenplay.

Judson Scott, Sidonie Dumas, Christophe Riandee and Johanna Byer are exec producing.
