‘Project Dorothy’ – Danielle Harris Plays an A.I. That’s Accidentally Powered Up!

Danielle Harris, a Halloween favorite, is next starring as the title character in the sci-fi thriller Project Dorothy, Bloody Disgusting learned today.

Harris (Halloween 4 & 5, Rob Zombie’s Halloween, Hatchet 3, Victor Crowley) stars alongside Tim DeZarn (Cabin in the Woods) and Adam Budron (Night, Night) in the indie that just wrapped principal photography out of Illinois and Los Angeles, Ca.

In the film…

“After a botched robbery, two men (DeZarn, Budron) take refuge in a remote and lifeless scientific facility, inadvertently awakening a monster within. It is a story of cat and mouse against a hyper sophisticated, nuanced artificial intelligence (Harris).”

Emily Rafala (Katy Keene) and Olivia Scott (Altered Reality) will be co-starring in the film, which is directed by George Henry Horton (Anne, With Love).

Project Dorothy is produced by Ryan Scaringe of Kinogo Pictures (The Djinn, Boy Behind the Door) and George Henry Horton of Liberty Atlantic Studios and with Danielle Harris serving as Executive Producer.
