Safe Room Podcast: Shopping List from Hell and More in This Month’s Horror Bytes

While we may have missed last week, Neil and I are back with a vengeance for this month’s Horror Bytes!

For April’s edition of Horror Bytes, in which Neil and I each highlight four bite-sized horror experiences, we’ve done our damndest to find a varied crop of spooky slices of horror. If anything, our picks this month reinforced the notion that you can’t judge a game by its size or cover art, as even the most seemingly strange or silly titles can conjure up a fair amount of fun.

This month, we explore a spooky garbage route, a sub-nautical puzzle platformer, a shopping list from hell, and view a classified video amongst a handful of other horrifyingly unique experiences.

And as always, these horror experiences are FREE, so be sure to tip the developers through their respective itch.io pages if you’re able to!

Neil’s Picks

Ambrosia

Blockage

Feeding_Log_01172013

Ghost in the Washing Machine

Jay’s Picks

Cleaning Redville

ROJO: A Spanish Horror Experience

The Lighthouse

The Shopping List

If you want to sample a varied selection of bite-sized horror games, you can find every Horror Bytes pick so far in our Safe Room’s Horror Bytes Collection on itch.io.

Safe Room is a weekly horror video game discussion podcast, premiering on all major platforms every Monday. You can browse our LinkTree for a complete list of services here.
