Action RPG ‘Hellpoint’ Receives New DLC and Next-Gen Upgrade This July [Trailer]

Developer Cradle Games has announced that their action RPG Hellpoint will be making the leap to current-gen consoles later this year. And along with Hellpoint appearing on the PS5 and Xbox Series, fans will also be getting a new DLC.

Hellpoint will arrive for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series on July 12th, and along with it, the Blue Sun DLC. Blue Sun details the complete story of the Irid Novo space station, and includes three new sprawling locations, armor sets and two-handed weapons. The DLC will also include “highly requested features” such as stats respec and inventory management.

As for the current-gen upgrade, fans can expect the usual improved resolution, 60 FPS, and faster loading times on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series versions. No word on if existing owners will be getting a free upgrade.

Currently available on Steam, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the Nintendo Switch, Hellpoint is a sci-fi action-RPG set in the aftermath of a massive quantum cataclysm called the Merge. You wake up on board the Irid Novo space station, a beacon of galactic cooperation and scientific exploration gone horribly wrong. What happens next will be solely determined by your choices.
