‘Bullet Train’ Trailer 2 – Brad Pitt Fights to Survive in ‘Deadpool 2’ Director’s Violent Action Thriller

Up next from director David Leitch (Atomic Blonde, Deadpool 2 and Hobbs & Shaw) is the action-thriller Bullet Train, and the new official trailer has pulled into the station today.

Brad Pitt stars in Bullet Train, “an original movie event” wherein “Five assassins aboard a fast moving bullet train find out their missions have something in common.”

This one is being billed as a “fun, delirious action-thriller,” with an ensemble of eclectic assassins and “set against the backdrop of a non-stop ride through modern-day Japan.”

The film is exclusively in theaters August 5. Watch the Bullet Train trailer below!

The Sony film is based on Maria Beetle by Kotaro Isaka, adapted by screenwriter Zak Olkewicz.

David Leitch, it’s interesting to note, has been a stunt double for Brad Pitt multiple times over the years, for films including Fight ClubSpy GameOcean’s Eleven, and Troy. Leitch got his start in Hollywood as a stunt performer, taking the leap into filmmaking as co-director on the first John Wick movie. That film was co-directed alongside fellow stuntman Chad Stahelski.
