‘Godzilla vs. Kong’ returns to ‘World of Warships’ in August Update

It was so nice the first time, they’re doing it again. After making a stop in Call of Duty: Warzone earlier this year, Godzilla and King Kong content is making a return to Wargaming and Lesta Studio’s World of Warships in the game’s August update.

Previously released in April of last year in a time-limited event for World of Warships, Godzilla and Kong return as commanders for their respective battleships, the Japanese VIII Amagi and the American VIII North Carolina, complete with their unique camouflages. Premium containers will once again contain various items from last year’s event, with the possibility of acquiring permanent and expendable camouflages, commanders and economic bonuses. In addition, Ultimate Titan and Ultimate Guardian expendable camouflages will also be available for purchase once more.

This is all part of World of Warships‘ 0.11.7 update, which rolls out today. The update also includes a new seasonal content for the game, as well as improvements to the camera during battles, tweaks to submarines, new ships and more.

World of Warships is currently available on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series.

Meanwhile, after raking in $470 million worldwide last year, director Adam Wingard will be making his return behind the camera for the as-yet-untitled Godzilla vs. Kong sequel, which is expected to be released in theatres in March 2024.
