‘Buddy Simulator 1984’ Wants to Play on the Nintendo Switch This Week [Trailer]

Feeling lonely this Halloween season? Sounds like you need a buddy. Lucky for you, Feardemic and developer Not a Sailor Studios are bringing their 2021 game Buddy Simulator 1984 to the Nintendo Switch this week!

Arriving on the Nintendo eShop on October 27 (though you can pre-order it today), Buddy Simulator 1984 utilizes the next generation of AI science to simulate the experience of hanging out with your best buddy. Your buddy learns, adapts to your personality, and, most importantly, plays games with you! Your best buddy learns from you, constantly adapting to your interests and personality.

And speaking of the games, you can choose from three different games to play with your AI buddy. Can you beat your buddy in a intense game of rock, paper, scissors? What about a dangerous game of hangman? Your buddy will constantly be learning all about you in order to become better friends. With Buddy Simulator 1984‘s new state of the art AI technology, your buddy will evolve to better adapt to your interests and make sure you are having fun together!

Of course, if you’re not in on the joke already, Buddy Simulator 1984 has an appropriately darker edge to it, but that’s all part of the fun. And as alluded to before, you can also pick up the game on PC via Steam.
