Resident Evil Showcase Streaming October 20, Focusing On ‘Resident Evil 4’ Remake

With Konami holding their Silent Hill Transmission tomorrow, Capcom fans were probably wondering just when that announced Resident Evil Showcase would be happening. The answer to that is this Thursday!

Capcom has announced that their next Resident Evil showcase will take place on October 20 at 3:00pm PT / 6:00pm ET. You’ll be able to watch the event via YouTube or Twitch. As for what the showcase will be about, we’ll finally be getting new gameplay footage and a new trailer for the upcoming Resident Evil 4 remake.

The showcase will also be taking another look at the “Winters’ Expansion” for Resident Evil Village Gold Edition, which is set to arrive on October 28 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.

There’s also a good chance that we’ll be seeing more Resident Evil-related goodies during the showcase, which hopefully will finally reveal just when we’ll be getting Resident Evil Re:Verse, which if you recall, was supposed to be bundled as a free game when Village was released last May. That of course never happened, as Re:Verse was delayed, and has faced multiple delays since then. The last we heard from Capcom about the game was that it was coming out this year, so fingers crossed.

Resident Evil 4 will launch March 24, 2023 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC.
