VR Survival Horror Game ‘Project: Nightlight’ Announced for 2023 [Trailer]

More VR Survival Horror gaming is coming your way thanks to Fringe Realities and their upcoming Project: Nightlight. The game is planning to be released on Steam VR via Steam (naturally) with a release window of Q1 2023.

Project: Nightlight casts you as a security guard for The Department, a research facility that currently holds a mysterious artifact. You know the drill: you’re by yourself, with only your radio buddy Dave for comfort. It soon becomes apparent to you that something is amiss in the facility, as something has been tampered with while on your shift. As you delve deeper into the facility, you’ll discover secrets that should have been kept hidden. Not only that, but it feels like you’re being watched.

Fringe Realities aims to provide “a whole new level of immersion” with your environment in Project: Nightlight. Along with the usual interacting with doors and the various clutter around the facility, you’ll be having to break chains with bolt cutters, melt locks with your blowtorch and more. Also, as you might expect, there’s definitely someone or something watching you. As a result, you’ll be making use of the weapon developed by The Department to reveal just who or what exactly might be dwelling in the dark.
