DreadXP Announces Expansion to Consoles, ‘Sucker for Love’ and ‘Iron Lung’ Arriving on the Switch This Week

Horror game publisher DreadXP are stepping out beyond the PC market with a new development studio tasked with bringing the developer’s library of PC games to consoles. Announced today, the development studio, aptly named Port My Game Collective, is already at work with new Nintendo Switch releases of AkaBaka’s Sucker for Love: First Date, and the newly-acquired atmospheric horror game from David Szymanski in Iron Lung. Best of all, both titles are arriving later this week!

Both Sucker for Love and Iron Lung arrive on the Switch on December 16. They aren’t the only ports in the works, as The Mortuary Assistant and SPOOKWARE in will be getting console releases Q1 2023.

“As DreadXP has grown, one of the top requests that we’ve received from fans is having access to our games on consoles,” said Ted Hentskchke, Head of DreadXP Productions and Producer. “We searched far and wide for development partners to faithfully port our developers’ titles, and our search for talent led us to the creation of our new porting studio, Port My Game Collective (PMG Collective). We are excited to introduce console gamers to our slate of games for the first time and look forward to our goal of simultaneous multiplatform game launches.”

Sucker for Love: First Date (check out our review for a reminder) is available now for PC on Steam, Itch.io, and the Epic Games Store. Irong Lung (which we also reviewed) is also available on Steam.
