“Gen V” – First Look at “The Boys” Spinoff Series Brings the Bloody Mayhem [Video]

In addition to “The Boys” Season 4, which has been officially ordered up by Amazon Prime Video, the brand new spinoff series “Gen V” is also headed to Prime Video next year.

The live-action spinoff series from Amazon Studios is set at America’s only college exclusively for young-adult superheroes (run by Vought International).

Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters are showrunners for “Gen V,” which is said to be “an irreverent, R-rated series that explores the lives of hormonal, competitive Supes as they put their physical, sexual, and moral boundaries to the test, competing for the best contracts in the best cities.”

Amazon’s official description for the new spinoff series continues, “It’s part college show, part Hunger Games–with all the heart, satire, and raunch of The Boys.”

Jaz Sinclair, Chance Perdomo, Lizze Broadway, Shelley Conn, Maddie Phillips, London Thor, Derek Luh, Asa Germann, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Sean Patrick Thomas, Marco Pigossi, Clancy Brown, Alexander Calvert and Jason Ritter star, with guest appearances from Jessie T. Usher, Colby Minifie and P.J. Byrne reprising their roles from “The Boys.”

Producers include Eric KripkeSeth Rogen, and Evan Goldberg.
