Splatter Royale Arrives Later This Week For ‘Evil Dead: The Game’

Saber Interactive’s Evil Dead: The Game is still a favourite for many, and it’s about to get more attention with Splatter Royale. The asymmetrical multiplayer title will be getting a new bonus game mode later this week that puts its own twist on a Battle Royale.

While details are yet to be revealed, Splatter Royale will be part of a new update for Evil Dead: The Game arriving on February 2. Splatter Royale will see players battling up for 40 Deadites to see who will come out on top.

The Splatter Royale mode is just one part of the forthcoming “Ash vs. Evil Dead” DLC update, which will also include the Immortal Power Bundle (which Saber teased last week), as well as the introduction of Lucy Lawless‘ Ruby Knowles as a playable character.

Just in case you’ve been living under a rock this entire time, Evil Dead: The Game pits players as a team of four survivors who must explore, loot, craft and find key artifacts to seal the breach between our world and the Deadites. Or, if you’re feeling particularly evil, you can also take control of the powerful Kandarian Demon to hunt Ash and his friends while possessing Deadites, the environment, and even the survivors themselves.

Evil Dead: The Game is currently available on PC via the Epic Games Store, as well as PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and the Xbox Series.
