1990s Series “Godzilla Island” Now Officially Available in the U.S. for the Very First Time

Godzilla fans can now experience the iconic and campy short-form series Godzilla Island for the first time outside of Japan, Bloody Disgusting has been informed this week!

First debuted in 1997, the series of three-minute shorts ran for over 250 episodes and is now on the Godzilla YouTube Channel, subtitled in English for the first time.

You can travel to Godzilla Island and enjoy the antics of your favorite kaiju such as Mothra, Rodan, Ghidorah, and of course, Godzilla, by watching Episode #1 in the video below!

In the 1990s series, “The year is 2097. Monsters live and frolic on Godzilla Island under the watchful eye of G-Guard, a human peacekeeping force. But with a massive, belligerent UFO heading straight for the island, how long can that peace last?!”

Episodes of Godzilla Island will be released every Tuesday and Thursday.
