Killer Collectibles highlights five of the most exciting new horror products announced each and every week, from toys and apparel to artwork, records, and much more.
Here are the coolest horror collectibles unveiled this week!
Evil Dead II Poster from Vice Price
Kiss your nerves goodbye with Vice Press’ Evil Dead II poster. James Bousema’s design evokes the original Evil Dead poster with a gory twist. Priced at $50, the 24×36 offset lithograph print is a hand-numbered edition of 175. It’s expected to ship in April.
Army of Darkness Cup from Fright-Rags
Evil Dead Rise premieres next week at SXSW, so I’m doubling down on the Evil Dead love. Fright-Rags is celebrating Army of Darkness’ 30th anniversary with a collection of merchandise that includes a retro-style plastic souvenir cup for $7. Featuring a wrap-around design by Matthew Skiff, it holds up to 32 ounces of your favorite beverage.
Texas Chain Saw Massacre Miniatures from Trick or Treat Studios
Trick or Treat Studios has unveiled a set of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre miniatures featuring 11 characters: Leatherface, Cook, Hitchhiker, Grandpa, Sally, Jerry, Kirk, Pam, Franklin, Sheriff, and Big Ed. Each figure stands approximately 1.6″ tall. Estimated to ship in July, the set is to pre-order for $24.95.
The Beyond Poster from Outposter 512
Lucio Fulci’s films are all rife with memorable imagery, but perhaps none more so than The Beyond. Matt Tobin Ryan taps into it with his Italian-style poster design for Outpost 512. The 24×36 screen print is limited to 175. Priced at $70, it will ship in May.
The Simpsons: Treehouse of Horror Toys from Super7
Super7’s latest wave of The Simpsons ReAction Figures is dedicated to the show’s annual Halloween specials, Treehouse of Horror. Due out in July, the 3.75″ scale retro-style toys are $20 a piece.
The line includes Grim Reaper Homer (with scythe and scroll) from “Reaper Madness,” Skeleton Marge from “I’ve Grown a Costume on Your Face,” Inside-Out Bart (with hat and cane) from “Nightmare Cafeteria,” and Kang-Dole (with mask) from “Citizen Kang.”
Horror Is Political Shirt from Dread Central
You’re getting a bonus item this week for a good cause. Horror is political, and trans rights are human rights. Full stop. Our friends at Dread Central made this design by managing editor Josh Korngut to raise money for Trans Lifeline. You can get a T-shirt for $25 or a sweatshirt for $40.
