‘Resident Evil’ Alumni Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield Now Available in ‘Fortnite’

Capcom’s Resident Evil 4 remake is coming in hot this Friday. But for Fortnite fans, you can get your hands on Leon Kennedy today alongside Claire Redfield as the latest Resident Evil alumni to join the game.

Joining Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield, the Raccoon City Survivors pack features Leon equipped his trusty combat knife and RE4 attache case as his Back Bling, and Claire in her bootcut jeans and biker jacket costume, with the R.P.D. Keys Back Bling (featuring all of the keys you’re required to find in the Police Department), and a red-and-white umbrella (hint, hint) as her pickaxe.

Frustrating for some fans, Leon’s costume does not come with his RE4 jacket (though you can certainly buy it for yourself), and instead features his muscle shirt. Can’t win ’em all, it seems.

The Resident Evil Raccoon City Survivors pack can be had in Fortnite for 2,100 V-Bucks from the Item Shop.

Meanwhile for the rest of us, you can try again with the Mad Chainsaw Mode in the Resident Evil 4 demo before the full game hits on March 24 for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and the Xbox Series. Or, if you’d care for a little reading, you can check out Reyna’s review of the Resident Evil 4 remake, which (let’s be honest) sounds like a no-brainer buy.
