‘DREDGE’ Racks up the Accolades in New Trailer [Video]

We’ve already sung the praises of Black Salt Games’ DREDGE, referring to it as “one of the most exciting indie titles in years”. But we’re not the only ones. In case you haven’t already picked up the Lovecraftian fishing simulator, publisher Team 17 has released a new trailer touting the accolades of DREDGE, who said that they are “thankful and humbled” by the response to the game by critics and fans alike.

In DREDGE, you step into the water-logged boots of a down-on-their luck fisherman and explore a collection of remote isles while scouring the surrounding depths for a variety of fish and valuable deep-sea curios. Once your trawler is full, sell your haul to the peculiar locals while completing quests and unraveling more about each archipelago. However, as you do, you soon discover that there’s something more dangerous than the rocks and shallow reefs lurking in the dark waters at night.

DREDGE is available now digitally on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch. And for you physical media junkies, DREDGE can also be had in a Physical Deluxe Edition for PlayStation, Xbox and Switch. This edition includes a physical poster, the DREDGE artbook and sticker set, the game’s digital soundtrack, and the Blackstone Key DLC.
