‘Evil Dead Rise’ – Two New Clips Turn Mommy into a Deadite Nightmare

Tickets for Evil Dead Rise are on sale now, and two brand new clips have been unleashed this week. The clips are titled “Burned Alive” and “Good Girl,” and they document the Deadite possession of new franchise character Ellie. She torments her sister Beth and her daughter Kassie in these two clips, and you’ll also find a third previously-released clip below.

Come on back here to BD next Monday for a total bloodbath, Evil Dead-style…

Director Lee Cronin’s (The Hole in the GroundEvil Dead Rise is coming exclusively to theaters on April 21, 2023Gabrielle Echols (Reminiscence), Morgan Davies (The End) and Nell Fisher (Splendid Isolation) star alongside Alyssa Sutherland and Lily Sullivan.

Here’s the official plot synopsis for Evil Dead Rise

“In the fifth Evil Dead film, a road-weary Beth pays an overdue visit to her older sister Ellie, who is raising three kids on her own in a cramped L.A apartment. The sisters’ reunion is cut short by the discovery of a mysterious book deep in the bowels of Ellie’s building, giving rise to flesh-possessing demons, and thrusting Beth into a primal battle for survival as she is faced with the most nightmarish version of motherhood imaginable.”

Sam RaimiBruce Campbell and Robert Tapert are producing Evil Dead Rise. According to Campbell, the three have been “very involved” in the project every step of the way.
