Folk-Horror Game Mundaun Now Available for PS5 Xbox Series [Trailer]

Two years after it was released for last-gen consoles and PC, publisher Annapurna Interactive and developer Hidden Fields have released their stylized horror game Mundaun for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. The folk-horror game can now be had for $19.99 USD on current-gen systems, and features upgraded visuals in terms of 4K resolution at 60 fps, bug fixes and more.

For PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC owners, no need to worry about missing out, as updated versions of Mundaun are available on those platforms, as well.

Initially launched for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store back in 2021, Mundaun takes place in the Swiss alps, where after learning of your grandfather’s mysterious death, you return to the tiny town of Mundaun for the first time since your youth to investigate. You’ll traverse through a variety of environments, as well as interact with the odd inhabitants of Mundaun, and solve puzzles in order to progress.

And seeing as the Steam Summer Sale is on now until July 13, PC owners who haven’t snagged the game yet can purchase Mundaun for a cool 50% discount. And in case you’re wondering what all the fuss is about, check out Aaron’s take of the game.
