Five months after it arrived on the Nintendo Switch, The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan will finally have some company. Supermassive Games and Bandai Namco has announced that the second entry in The Dark Pictures Anthology in Little Hope will arrive on the Nintendo Switch on October 5 via the Nintendo eShop.
Originally released for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One back in 2020, Little Hope (which we reviewed here) centres on a college class whose bus is diverted through the town of Little Hope due to bad weather. Things take a turn for the worse when their bus crashes, and they appear from the wreckage relatively unscathed.
As the group explores the seemingly abandoned town of Little Hope, they become trapped by a mysterious impenetrable fog. Searching for a means of escape, they start to encounter visions of the past that haunt them from the shadows.
Through these mysterious visions, they bear witness to the town’s gruesome past and the terrible events of the Andover Witch Trials. They must figure out the motivation of these apparitions and escape Little Hope while hellish demons relentlessly pursue them.
Meanwhile, the latest entry in the series, the season-ending The Devil in Me, is out now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. Next season’s first entry, Directive 8020, is currently in development.
