‘Lies of P’ Crosses 1 Million Units Sold in Less Than a Month Since Launch

Neowiz’s unique take on the Pinocchio story with Lies of P has resulted in big sales for the Soulslike less than a month after its release. The developer has announced that the game has officially sold 1 million units globally across PC and consoles since its launch back on September 18th.

“This incredible milestone for Lies of P proves the potential of Korean console games on the global stage,” said Seungchul Kim, co-CEO of Neowiz, who described the game as a “challenging endeavor” for Neowiz and Round8 Studio, but that they “take great pride” in the results.

Jiwon Choi, Director for the game, chimed in as well with regards to the response to the game. “The reception has been incredible so far, and we are beyond thankful that over 1 million players have already embarked on their journey through Krat. Likewise, we are excited for what the future holds for Lies of P, and can’t wait to share more when the time is right.”

That future involves DLC content for the game, which despite having not been officially announced as of yet, is definitely on the way.

Lies of P is now available on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and the Xbox Series.
