Celebrate April Fools in ‘Dead by Daylight’ With the Limited-Time “My Little Oni” Trials Event [Trailer]

Behaviour Interactive are getting into the April Fools gimmick big time this year for Dead by Daylight. Literally. The developer has announced that those who log in from now until April 3 at 6:00am PT / 9:00am ET, you’ll be treated to “a little change” in the Dead by Daylight Trials with “My Little Oni”.

The My Little Oni event has players facing off against a Kaiju-sized Oni. In fact, not only does The Oni tower above Survivors, the Survivors themselves are smaller. The only thing that the Survivors can do is reach and work on the Generators to try and escape.

Seriously, this mode makes it so Survivors have no access to Items, Chests, Basements or Pallets. And since they’re “too small and frail” for Hooks, death only comes in the form of a Mori.

Luckily, if you’re not keen on playing in this mode, you can opt for the standard Dead by Daylight Trials from the game’s main menu. But where’s the fun in that?

You can get in on the fun of My Little Oni in Dead by Daylight on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. You can also snag the latest Chapter for Dead by Daylight in “All Things Wicked”.
