‘Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II’ Out Now on PC, Xbox Series and Game Pass [Trailer]

Fans waiting patiently to return to the world of Senua in Ninja Theory’s Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II can finally do so today. The sequel to 2017’s award winning Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is available now on PC via Steam, the Xbox Series, and Xbox Game Pass.

Hellblade II takes place after the events of the previous game, where Senua has returned from Hel. Confronted with the devastation of her homeland at the hands of Viking raiders, Senua undertakes a brutal journey of survival through the myth and torment of Viking Iceland in order to exact revenge for the victims of the raiders.

The new trailer continues what we’ve previously seen from the game in terms of its visuals, as well as touching on the psychological horror aspects, as Senua must grapple with the effects of her psychosis. At the same time, these voices also serve as a guide for Senua.

At the same time, we’re also given glimpses of the revamped combat that awaits Hellblade II, which certainly gives off that “visceral” feel that Ninja Theory had alluded to during development.

And for those who “walked in late”, you can also get up to speed for Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II with the recap trailer that Ninja Theory released last week.
